Dexiomimops fuscata Shima et Chao, 1992
Remark: The genus Dexiomimops has been known from 4 species in China (Shima, 1987); 3 species from Taiwan and 1 species from Fujian, the latter also occurring in Thailand. This species closely resembles D. curtipes Shima from Fujian and Thailand and D. crassipes Shima from Taiwan, but may be easily distinguished from them by the narrow male frons and dark body color. The genus Dexiomimops has been known in East and Southeast Asia from Ussuri through Japan and China southward to Sumatra (Indonesia) and westward to Burrma. Shima has recently seen some undetermined and undescribed species of the genus from Pakistan, Nepal, Indonesia (Java) and the Philippines (Mindanao). This genus seems to be well diverse in this area and more species may be expected in China, too.
Distribution: China (Yunnan).
