Remark: Allied to Microdrosophila (Microdrosophila) spiciferipennis Zhang in patterns of mesonotum, thoracic pleura and abdomen, but differs from it in having aedeagus pocket-shaped and ventral recurved process apicolaterally widened and pointed.
